孩子能同時(shí)掌握四種語言
很多家長會有所顧慮：在嬰兒時(shí)期為孩子提供英文環(huán)境，是否會影響其母語的學(xué)習(xí)。
李迎認(rèn)為，這種顧慮完全沒有必要，依據(jù)語言科學(xué)的研究，孩子可以同時(shí)接受四種語言而不混淆。“在歐洲的很多國家，很多人同時(shí)會幾種語言，主要是由于他們擁有多種語言環(huán)境，而在中國，我們的孩子缺乏英文環(huán)境?！?/p>

學(xué)英語宜早點(diǎn)打基礎(chǔ)
在金寶貝早教中心，家長李女士告訴記者，她的第一個(gè)寶寶是在3個(gè)月的時(shí)候開始接觸英語，“我經(jīng)常在家里說英語，給孩子提供英語環(huán)境?！?歲后，李女士的寶寶被送到沈陽市一家雙語幼兒園，她發(fā)現(xiàn)，孩子接受英語的能力比那些沒有提前接受英語教育的小朋友要好很多。
對此，李迎說：“孩子開口講話后，家長會發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子最先說的通常是他在日常經(jīng)常聽到的，因此，早期為孩子提供英語環(huán)境的意義也在于此，孩子開始說話的時(shí)候，他的大腦里已經(jīng)具備了大量的英文詞匯，因此說起來也比較容易?！?/p>

零英語基礎(chǔ)的父母如何輔導(dǎo)小孩學(xué)英語
我家女兒從6歲開始，經(jīng)過半年多的時(shí)間，終于完成了Reading Bear中50個(gè)單元的學(xué)習(xí)，基本掌握了系統(tǒng)完備的常規(guī)發(fā)音和拼讀，覆蓋了1200個(gè)詞匯，現(xiàn)在能自己閱讀簡單的（level 0-1）的英語書籍。（讀到這里，是不是感覺很像廣告？請注意：這不是廣告，因?yàn)镽eading Bear這個(gè)網(wǎng)站是完全免費(fèi)且無任何廣告的；這也不是炫耀（真沒什么值得炫耀的），因?yàn)橹攸c(diǎn)是把reading bear推薦給大家，并教大家怎么樣，讓更多人受益。（原創(chuàng)：安格努努DrMommy）
先說說我家女兒的情況。我們住在加拿大的法語區(qū)，幼兒園和小學(xué)都是純法語教學(xué)，小學(xué)一個(gè)星期只有一次英語課。所以我們跟國內(nèi)的很多家長一樣，也擔(dān)心小孩的英語學(xué)習(xí)，也考慮過如何讓小孩學(xué)好英語。我們尤其希望女兒能掌握一定的英語閱讀能力，那樣她自己就可以閱讀很多英語書籍，擴(kuò)充知識面。雖然我們夫妻雙方都具備一定的英語基礎(chǔ)，但是我們的英語發(fā)音畢竟不那么標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。為了不把我們不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的發(fā)音“遺傳”給下一代，我們從一開始就不打算自己教孩子英語。
華人家長也面臨著類似的問題，很多家長把孩子送去了周末補(bǔ)習(xí)班。這個(gè)跟國內(nèi)一樣，在華人社區(qū)有不同年齡段的各個(gè)學(xué)科的補(bǔ)習(xí)班。我們不想給孩子太大的學(xué)習(xí)壓力，所以不太愿意讓孩子去補(bǔ)習(xí)班。這邊華人家長的另一個(gè)選擇是請英語私教。而這個(gè)選項(xiàng)也超出了我們的經(jīng)濟(jì)承受能力。作為一個(gè)非典型性geek，我相信技術(shù)能幫助人們的語言學(xué)習(xí)，所以我們把關(guān)注點(diǎn)放在了技術(shù)上。
那個(gè)時(shí)候我就在網(wǎng)上尋找和比較各種英語學(xué)習(xí)資源。作為一名開源、公益運(yùn)動的支持者（分享此文也是一種對開源、公益運(yùn)動的支持），我特別關(guān)注了各種開源的、公益性的、非贏利的英語學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目，最終選擇了readingbear.org作為英語發(fā)音與拼讀的啟蒙學(xué)習(xí)平臺。
我女兒很喜歡readingbear.org這個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)網(wǎng)站，平時(shí)有空時(shí)她自己會打開學(xué)習(xí)，有時(shí)候也需要督促一下，不過從來沒有抵觸情緒。每當(dāng)她完成一個(gè)單元的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)，她能獲得一種成就感?，F(xiàn)在她會經(jīng)常指出我們的英語發(fā)音問題。而且她也通過Reading Bear的學(xué)習(xí)，培養(yǎng)了學(xué)習(xí)興趣：今天她還在問我：爸爸現(xiàn)在我學(xué)什么？女兒的英語學(xué)習(xí)也影響了四歲的老二，觸發(fā)了他的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，他也在四歲生日后開始學(xué)習(xí)Reading Bear。有時(shí)候兩個(gè)人還會為了學(xué)習(xí)搶設(shè)備。而老三在姐姐哥哥學(xué)習(xí)的時(shí)候，也喜歡湊到一邊去看。

由于我工作學(xué)習(xí)很忙，家里又有三個(gè)孩子，很難抽出時(shí)間一次性寫完這些內(nèi)容，請大家耐心等待。事實(shí)上readingbear.org網(wǎng)站上有很詳細(xì)的介紹和使用指南，只是都是英語寫的，如果不介意看英語的話，可以直接去網(wǎng)站了解。
可能有朋友會說題目是個(gè)標(biāo)題黨：你們夫妻都具備一定的英語基礎(chǔ)，不能算零英語基礎(chǔ)呀。事實(shí)上我的英語基礎(chǔ)只是幫我找到了Reading Bear，而在女兒的學(xué)習(xí)過程中，我們基本上沒有用我們的蹩腳英語去指導(dǎo)過她。Reading Bear網(wǎng)站雖然是全英語的，其實(shí)使用非常方便，即使不會英語，經(jīng)過別人的解決后也能弄明白怎么用。
