In , I entered the Nanjing University of Science %26 Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester, and my overall GPA(89.5/100) ranked No.1 among 113 students. In , I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. I selected the Shanghai Jiao Tong University to continue my study for its best reputation on Combinatorial Optimization and Network Scheduling where my research interest lies.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. In , I participated in simulation tool development for the scheduling system in Prof. Wang’s lab. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. In , I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis %26 dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In 1999, I joined the distinguished Professor Yu-Geng Xis research group aiming at Network flow problem solving and Heuristic algorithm research. Soon I was engaged in the FuDan Gene Database Design. My duty was to pick up the useful information among different kinds of gene matching format. Through the comparison and analysis for many heuristic algorithms, I introduced an improved evolutionary algorithm -- Multi-population Genetic Algorithm. By dividing a whole population into several sub-populations, this improved algorithm can effectively prevent GA from local convergence and promote various evolutionary orientations. It proved more efficiently than SGA in experiments, too. In the second semester, I joined the workshop-scheduling research in Shanghai Heavy Duty Tyre plant. The scheduling was designed for the rubber-making process that covered not only discrete but also continuous circumstances. To make a balance point between optimization quality and time cost, I proposed a Dynamic Layered Scheduling method based on hybrid Petri Nets. The practical application showed that the average makespan was shortened by a large scale. I also publicized two papers in core journals with this idea. Recently, I am doing research in the Composite Predict of the Electrical Power system assisted with the technology of Data Mining for Bao Steel. I try to combine the Decision Tree with Receding Optimization to provide a new solution for the Composite Predictive Problem. This project is now under construction.

Besides, In July 2000, I got the opportunity to give a lecture in English in Asia Control Conference (ASCC) which is one of the top-level conferences among the world in the area of control and automation. In my senior year, I met Prof. Xiao-Song Lin, a visiting professor of mathematics from University of California-Riverside, I learned graph theory from him for my network research. These experiences all rapidly expanded my knowledge of English and the understanding of western culture.

I hope to study in depth

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

一面技術(shù)面，這方面華為還是很松的，輕松都能過關(guān)，基本上分為兩部分：語言，問的是c和c++的問題;項(xiàng)目。感覺自己語言方面還是比較扯淡，問到了c++的static變量和非static的區(qū)別，然后給了一個(gè)程序題，找改錯(cuò)。確實(shí)蒙了，很長時(shí)間找不到錯(cuò)，比較郁悶，心想必掛了，給的程序是一個(gè)字符串倒敘的算法，主要錯(cuò)誤有：字符串會(huì)有個(gè)'/o'所以在動(dòng)態(tài)分配內(nèi)存時(shí)，長度要+1，動(dòng)態(tài)分配完后要判斷是否分配成功，程序結(jié)束后要free動(dòng)態(tài)分配的`空間(這個(gè)很容易忘了)，倒轉(zhuǎn)字符串后要加上'/0'.5處錯(cuò)誤就找出2處，看來基礎(chǔ)還是不行，好的習(xí)慣沒養(yǎng)成。然后是問項(xiàng)目，這塊忽悠的還可以，所以被告知一面通過。

接下來是二面，群面。12人分兩組，先是自我介紹，說說優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)，愛好。優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)是主要的吧，面試官會(huì)即興提問，比如你說出一個(gè)缺點(diǎn)，他會(huì)說，舉個(gè)例子...然后是12人分兩組，6 vs 6辯論，我們的論題是愚公改移山還是搬家，然后討論，在討論的時(shí)候會(huì)有面試官在旁邊聽，一定要積極討論，再就是爭取第一個(gè)發(fā)言開題;第二個(gè)階段是辯論，這時(shí)候每個(gè)人只有一次發(fā)言機(jī)會(huì)，要注意聽別人和對(duì)方的觀點(diǎn)，做記錄，面試官可能會(huì)問你別人說了什么。第三個(gè)階段是面試官為難你了，他為難我讓我說出我方最有力的論點(diǎn)，以及給我方人馬按表現(xiàn)排序，這個(gè)比較郁悶。不過大膽的排序就是了,他還會(huì)問你的隊(duì)友對(duì)這個(gè)排序滿意否，以及會(huì)問被你排在后面的人有什么意見，之類，總之是各種為難人。

xx年MBA面試自我介紹－面試經(jīng)驗(yàn)

由于11號(hào)上午是8點(diǎn)20開始復(fù)試，10號(hào)早早睡覺，11號(hào)6點(diǎn)半就起來了。到西大還不到8點(diǎn)，我熟悉了一下面試的各個(gè)教室，分英語口語面試考場和A,B,C,D四組管理面試的考場。來得比較早，都沒有幾個(gè)人，然后也沒有什么事情干，靜靜坐在教室，看著不停的有考生進(jìn)來，呵呵，基本上男男女女都是正裝啊，想想昨天我還是休閑的學(xué)生打扮，今天居然也是打扮得貌似精英了。分組坐好，聽老師交代一些注意事項(xiàng)，別好自己的號(hào)碼牌，填寫基本信息表，接著又是漫長的等待。

開始的管理面試，還好我備了很多伊口蓮，給組員們沖沖饑，大家吃得很開心，也許是管理面試大家一起進(jìn)去的吧，所以大家還是都相對(duì)來說輕松的。10點(diǎn)45分，老師進(jìn)來了，通知我們組，因?yàn)榍耙唤M有2個(gè)人放棄了復(fù)試，所以時(shí)間快了，馬上讓我們準(zhǔn)備進(jìn)考場。時(shí)間提前了，一下子開始有點(diǎn)興奮，可以早點(diǎn)也意味著可以早點(diǎn)結(jié)束，早點(diǎn)解決肚子問題。依次號(hào)碼排排隊(duì)進(jìn)考場。

一個(gè)大的圓桌，對(duì)面坐著4個(gè)老師。我們就坐在對(duì)面。給老師基本信息表，接著每個(gè)人發(fā)了一張印有案例的紙。規(guī)則就是，每個(gè)人5分鐘的思考時(shí)間，接著按順序自我闡述觀點(diǎn)3－5分鐘，結(jié)束后小組討論，11點(diǎn)58分的時(shí)候給出一個(gè)小組討論的統(tǒng)一結(jié)果，最后由老師對(duì)每個(gè)人提問。案例還好，不算太難，標(biāo)題是“是否不惜一切代價(jià)？”講述的是一個(gè)快遞公司的職員nick在一個(gè)圣誕雪夜，要把一份100元的包裹，送到一個(gè)很高的山頂上去。但是由于大雪封山了，無法徒步上山；大雪破壞了通訊線路，同包裹主人聯(lián)系不上；圣誕夜，自己的主管領(lǐng)導(dǎo)無法聯(lián)系上。而該公司一貫的理念就是“不惜一切代價(jià)，要讓顧客滿意”，要送包裹唯一的方式就是要由nick租一輛直升飛機(jī)，而花費(fèi)需要5000美元，對(duì)于如此大的價(jià)格懸殊問題有2個(gè)：1、假如你是nick，你該怎么辦，你會(huì)不惜一切代價(jià)送包裹么？2、假如你是nick的主管，第二天你應(yīng)該如何處理5000美元的報(bào)銷問題。我的觀點(diǎn)是要不惜代價(jià)送包裹，5000美元是全額報(bào)銷。自我闡述和小組討論都蠻順利，整個(gè)小組的討論，包括組織都很有秩序，最后也拿出了一個(gè)小組統(tǒng)一的方案?？偨Y(jié)完后，就是到了個(gè)人提問的時(shí)間，老師基本上問的是一號(hào)和7號(hào)，我是后面才問到的.“將在外，軍令有所不從”如何理解，我覺得我這個(gè)題是答的不好，后來在老師的引導(dǎo)下，基本上算是答案完整吧。老師最后對(duì)我們的評(píng)語是討論的氣氛比較活躍，小組組織的不錯(cuò)，應(yīng)該老師還是相對(duì)來說滿意的。出了考場已經(jīng)是12點(diǎn)30多了，門口等待的小組老師說你們組好久啊。呵呵，估計(jì)老師早已經(jīng)饑腸轆轆了。

到此復(fù)試算是結(jié)束了，總結(jié)一下，平時(shí)的基本素質(zhì)的積累非常的重要，對(duì)于我來說管理，經(jīng)濟(jì)的知識(shí)我真的是一片空白的，學(xué)習(xí)還是急需，對(duì)于有一點(diǎn)基礎(chǔ)的英語呢，在會(huì)考試的前提下還是重在使用吧。MBA應(yīng)該是一個(gè)很有價(jià)值學(xué)習(xí)的，做好努力學(xué)習(xí)的準(zhǔn)備，聽說非常的辛苦，特別是在職學(xué)習(xí)。

結(jié)束后，我們一組的除了有事的xx外，還在xxxx吃了午飯。我覺得大家在一個(gè)小組也算是一種緣分吧，大家一個(gè)組還是挺齊心協(xié)力的，聊得也挺開心，雖然大家的年齡不同，背景不同，閱歷也不同。最后，還是非常感謝同一組的那些組友，也希望大家將來都是同學(xué)！
