The annual Spring Festival is coming again. The Spring Festival is an important traditional festival of our Chinese nation. Every Spring Festival, people who work outside will rush home to be reunited with their families.
Every years essential meal is the new years Eve dinner. In order to prepare this meal, my grandparents and my mother began to prepare ingredients in the first few weeks of new years Eve. My grandfather went to the market to buy beef, mutton and other ingredients. Grandma pickled chicken, meat and other pickles and filled sausages at home, while mom made dumplings and egg dumplings at home, the most impressive of which should be the process of filling sausages.
One night on New Years Eve, grandma brought a meat grinder. My task was to shake the machine. When I started filling, grandma stuffed pork into the machine. I shook the meat grinder and sang a song. At first, it was very smooth, but only a few minutes later, the problem came out. The casings were always broken and exposed, so Grandpa kept changing casings, mom Seeing that we were in trouble, I came to help. He picked up the casing and brought another pot of warm water. It turns out that casings need to be soaked in warm water before they become soft, tough and not easy to be damaged.
In the evening of new years Eve, dozens of dishes were brought to the table, which made people salivate. The glasses in front of each family member were filled with wine or drinks. Everyone touched each others glasses to celebrate New Years Eve. After dinner, we watched the Spring Festival Gala and ate peanuts with melon seeds. A few skits and crosstalk made us laugh.
The Spring Festival has passed, and we will usher in a new year. As students, we must study hard and make progress day by day in the new year.
