(2)Fading beauty
She is widely seen as proof that good looks can last for ever. But, at nearly 500 years of age, time is catching up with the Mona Lisa.
The health of the famous picture, painted by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1505, is getting worse by the year, according to the Louvre Museum(盧浮宮博物館) where it is housed.
“The thin, wooden panel on which the Mona Lisa is painted in oil has changed shape since experts checked it two years ago,” the museum said. Visitors have noticed changes but repairing the world’s most famous painting is not easy. Experts are not sure about the materials the Italian artist used and their current chemical state(化學(xué)狀態(tài)).
Nearly 6 million people go to see the Mona Lisa every year, many attracted by the mystery of her smile. “It is very interesting that when you’re not looking at her, she seems to be smiling, and then you look at her and she stops,” said Professor Margaret Livingstone of Harvard University. “It’s because direct vision (視覺) is excellent at picking up detail, but less suited to looking at shadows. Da Vinci painted the smile in shadows.”
However, the actual history of the Mona Lisa is just as mysterious as the smile. Da Vinci himself loved it so much that he always carried it with him, until it was eventually sold to France’s King Francis I in 1519.
In 1911, the painting was stolen from the Louvre by a former employee, who took it out of the museum

“小組合作”學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)在小學(xué)英語課堂內(nèi)正積極地得以積極實(shí)施和開展。在有效的合作活動(dòng)中,學(xué)生更樂意和同伴平等自主交流,情感得以喧囂,小學(xué)生好說、好動(dòng)的個(gè)性得以張揚(yáng),學(xué)生的語言能力能得以個(gè)性化的操練。小組合作整體提升了班級(jí)團(tuán)隊(duì)的學(xué)習(xí)成效,省時(shí)、簡約又高效。目前各學(xué)校就課堂內(nèi)的合作學(xué)習(xí)有明顯的重視,合作質(zhì)量也正在不斷提高。教師示范明確,任務(wù)交代清晰,學(xué)生樂意合作且分工明確,合作操練有成效。但如何把有效的“小組合作”學(xué)習(xí)延伸至課外,通過“兵教兵”,小組間積極、合理的競爭和評價(jià),教師的得力管理,提高學(xué)困生的英語學(xué)習(xí)成績等方面,很大一部分教師還是少了積極的思考和行動(dòng)。小學(xué)英語高年級(jí)教學(xué)課時(shí)緊,學(xué)科工作組教師需積極發(fā)揮團(tuán)隊(duì)優(yōu)勢,進(jìn)一步深入探究“提優(yōu)補(bǔ)差”的有效途徑,除了課內(nèi)的優(yōu)效合作活動(dòng),課外的有效合作更至關(guān)重要、密不可分。

按計(jì)劃開展好小英本學(xué)期的各類研修活動(dòng),做好見習(xí)教師的培訓(xùn)等有關(guān)工作,加強(qiáng)民辦校穩(wěn)定英語教師的英語專業(yè)素養(yǎng)培訓(xùn)。完成常態(tài)化的集體調(diào)研、學(xué)科調(diào)研測試及“理性和簡約”的調(diào)研分析報(bào)告,盡力為學(xué)校做好優(yōu)質(zhì)服務(wù)。

本學(xué)期我擔(dān)任高一(15)高一(16)班的英語教學(xué),這個(gè)兩個(gè)班都是平行班,經(jīng)過本學(xué)期的教學(xué),學(xué)生已基本適應(yīng)了上課的流程和掌握必須的學(xué)習(xí)方法,可是學(xué)生的語法基礎(chǔ)普遍薄弱,單詞記憶不是很夢想,聽說讀寫的英語本事也需要進(jìn)一步提高。
二、教學(xué)指導(dǎo)思想
認(rèn)真鉆研新課標(biāo),樹立新觀念,探索新教法,在學(xué)校教學(xué)計(jì)劃指導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行工作。異常注意根據(jù)我校高一學(xué)生實(shí)際,努力發(fā)展學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)和合作學(xué)習(xí)的本事。構(gòu)成有效的英語學(xué)習(xí)策略。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合運(yùn)用語言的本事。異常注重提高學(xué)生用英語進(jìn)行思維和表達(dá)的本事。繼續(xù)拓寬學(xué)生的知識(shí)面,全面培養(yǎng)聽、說、讀、寫四會(huì)本事,理解、分析和閱讀的本事,讓學(xué)生盡快適應(yīng)高中學(xué)習(xí)。
三、教材分析
按照新課程改革,本學(xué)期開設(shè)普通高中課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)實(shí)驗(yàn)教科書英語模塊必修(2)兩個(gè)模塊剩余和必修(3)和必修(4)。(人教版)共10個(gè)單元資料。共十二個(gè)模塊。其中有兩個(gè)模塊為復(fù)習(xí)模塊。
具體安排:對于10個(gè)模塊,每一模塊用10課時(shí),課本的學(xué)習(xí)能夠這樣進(jìn)行:上新課8個(gè)課時(shí),單元復(fù)習(xí)檢測2個(gè)課時(shí)。
四、教學(xué)資料
本學(xué)期主要學(xué)習(xí)必修三和必修四。要求學(xué)生重點(diǎn)掌握每個(gè)單元中的黑體詞語以及出現(xiàn)的重要句型。語法主要為:情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的用法。名詞性從句包括賓語從句、表語從句、同位語從句等。主謂一致。動(dòng)詞Ving的功能用法。其中名詞性從句和動(dòng)詞Ving的功能用法是本學(xué)期教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)也是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的難點(diǎn)。
五、主要措施
(一)教學(xué)方面:
1、為了使學(xué)生打牢基礎(chǔ)不至于出現(xiàn)知識(shí)斷層,本學(xué)期要有計(jì)劃的把學(xué)生初中學(xué)過的但掌握不好的時(shí)態(tài)、句式、定語從句、狀語從句、動(dòng)詞不定式以及部分掌握不好的詞匯、短語、句型分插于單元的新課教學(xué)中。
2、在聽力方面,進(jìn)一步提高學(xué)生的聽力水平,從高一就開始就對學(xué)生進(jìn)行聽力訓(xùn)練。除了利用課堂上的時(shí)間外,還堅(jiān)持利用課余時(shí)間給學(xué)生放一些英語小片段,趣味的視頻和帶中英文字幕的經(jīng)典電影,讓學(xué)生融入一個(gè)說英語的英語環(huán)境。
3、在口語表達(dá)方面,本學(xué)期要狠抓學(xué)生的口語表達(dá),在教學(xué)過程中努力設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué),把提高學(xué)生的口語安排在每節(jié)課的教學(xué)中。具體措施,每周二四六三次英語課,抽出5 10分鐘的時(shí)間,安排一到兩名學(xué)生到講臺(tái)前進(jìn)行英語口語表達(dá)練習(xí),形式多樣。

(二)在教研方面:
1、認(rèn)真研究新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn),尤其與舊大綱不一樣的地方,清楚哪些資料是新增加的,哪些資料是已經(jīng)刪掉的,哪些資料初中已經(jīng)學(xué)的。認(rèn)真研究新教材,在團(tuán)體備課的基礎(chǔ)上認(rèn)真?zhèn)湔n、上課,認(rèn)真進(jìn)行自習(xí)輔導(dǎo)和批改作業(yè)。
2、堅(jiān)持每周互相聽評課活動(dòng),相互取長補(bǔ)短,提高自我的教學(xué)本事。
3、團(tuán)體備課是提高教學(xué)質(zhì)量和整體教學(xué)水平的有力保證,有利于經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的教師與年輕教師互為補(bǔ)充、共同提高。

1、教學(xué)方面:常規(guī)教學(xué)中求創(chuàng)新
1)注意高一年級(jí)與初中的銜接過渡
高一新學(xué)期伊始,我們通過入學(xué)考試了解學(xué)生大致水平,及時(shí)給學(xué)生彌補(bǔ)初中的缺漏知識(shí)。利用一月左右的時(shí)間從語言、詞匯、語法、句型等方面幫助學(xué)生系統(tǒng)復(fù)習(xí)。盡快使學(xué)生適應(yīng)了高中英語教學(xué),具體做法是:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生課前預(yù)習(xí)、課后復(fù)習(xí)的良好學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣;堅(jiān)持用英語授課,要求并鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生用英語思考問題、回答問題;根據(jù)高考要求,從高一年級(jí)開始就培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力,教會(huì)學(xué)生一些閱讀技巧,養(yǎng)成良好的閱讀習(xí)慣;另外,課后還加強(qiáng)了與學(xué)生接觸,盡快和學(xué)生熟悉起來。

1.建立“課前五分鐘會(huì)話“,培養(yǎng)課堂交際氛圍。如一進(jìn)課堂我說:
“It’s nice to see you again./It’s fine today, isn’t?/How are you today?”星期一上課問:“Did you have a good time in the weekend?”學(xué)生會(huì)作出不同的回答,引出更多的對話,從而達(dá)到交際的目的。
2.盡量堅(jiān)持讓學(xué)生作duty report。這一做法初中就經(jīng)常采用,然而到了高中我仍然堅(jiān)持讓學(xué)生繼續(xù)做,實(shí)踐證明duty report是鍛煉學(xué)生開口的好方法。具體是讓當(dāng)天值日生在講臺(tái)前向同學(xué)們介紹當(dāng)天日期、天氣、出勤等情況,也可以讓他們講故事,并允許他們隨意挑選同學(xué)回答問題。
3.適當(dāng)讓學(xué)生表演對話或課文內(nèi)容。針對近期所學(xué)內(nèi)容,布置學(xué)生課后進(jìn)行討論排練,然后再搬上課堂表演。

只有通過輔導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握一套科學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)方法,并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自學(xué)能力,才能使學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和主動(dòng)性得以發(fā)揮。我的具體做法是:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)能力、各種方法掌握英語基本知識(shí)的能力、學(xué)生自己整理所學(xué)知識(shí)的能力。另外,自學(xué)能力的提高還得益于學(xué)生課外大量的獨(dú)立的閱讀,于是高一我們就求學(xué)生人人盡量買本英漢詞典作為工具書,讓他們勤查字典。
4)激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣
在教學(xué)中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,增強(qiáng)教學(xué)效果,才能避免在以后的學(xué)習(xí)中產(chǎn)生兩極分化。我的做法是把語言教學(xué)與日常生活聯(lián)系起來,上課時(shí)有目的講解一些西方背景知識(shí)和趣事。課后我還多和學(xué)生交流接觸,了解學(xué)生的需要,適當(dāng)和學(xué)生一起參加活動(dòng)如:圣誕節(jié)游藝晚會(huì)就極大的拉近了我們和學(xué)生的距離,也同時(shí)極大的提高了學(xué)生參與性與積極性。
通過如上的舉措,本期學(xué)生在英語學(xué)習(xí)的大部分環(huán)節(jié)取得了進(jìn)步,也增強(qiáng)了信心。但是這半年的教學(xué)中還存在的問題是,在進(jìn)行speaking這一塊時(shí)學(xué)生不太樂意開口;還有就是對于學(xué)困生成績的提高還有待進(jìn)一步探究。
2、備課方面:
我們高一備課組隊(duì)伍年輕,我們在個(gè)人鉆研教材的基礎(chǔ)上加強(qiáng)集體備課,發(fā)揮群體優(yōu)勢,進(jìn)一步明確教學(xué)目標(biāo),重點(diǎn)解決怎樣教會(huì)學(xué)生,突出教法。每堂研討課突出一個(gè)主題,如解決學(xué)生的聽力問題。雖然我們的嘗試可能非常幼稚但我們在努力。盡量擯棄老的,不符合潮流的教法。盡量激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使每一位學(xué)生參與課堂教學(xué)。根據(jù)學(xué)生年齡特點(diǎn)和知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu),采用不同的教學(xué)方法。課后寫好教后感,不斷總結(jié)得失。我們還盡量抽出時(shí)間彼此聽課,總結(jié)閃光點(diǎn),指出不足。我們高一英語備課組,充分發(fā)揮每個(gè)成員的聰明才智和力量,使高一英語的教學(xué)任務(wù)如期完成。

2、學(xué)生作業(yè)抄襲現(xiàn)象嚴(yán)重,這是一個(gè)普遍的問題。我也在試著以個(gè)性化的作業(yè)形式出現(xiàn),讓他們不僅學(xué)到了知識(shí),而且無法抄襲別人的。
3、課前預(yù)備鈴響后,班里紀(jì)律已經(jīng)如同下課,這個(gè)有待和班主任一起討論下。
4、接著上學(xué)期的安排要進(jìn)行演講比賽,在第六周前做好各項(xiàng)準(zhǔn)備,第六周開始演習(xí)。存在的問題是信心不足,因?yàn)槭堑谝淮巍K晕乙呀?jīng)和各個(gè)班主任商量了,一起幫助學(xué)生做心理工作,增強(qiáng)信心。
5、還有籌備一月一次的月考,因?yàn)閷W(xué)生的基礎(chǔ)比較差,我們在月考中就要適時(shí)的給學(xué)生在外語方面增強(qiáng)信心,問題是等考試出來,再總結(jié)。
6、中途講到第三單元遇到了馬克吐溫的經(jīng)典作品《百萬英鎊》,是以話劇的形式在課本中體現(xiàn)了,于是下定決心要籌備一場話劇表演。話劇已經(jīng)開始籌備了,但是很多同學(xué)依舊缺乏自信心,還沒有開始先自己泄氣了。有些同學(xué)說背不過句子,背不過單詞,其實(shí)這只是缺少自信的表現(xiàn),怕辛苦,怕累,不愿意努力。
總之,如同Eric說的,我們的學(xué)生缺少自信心,我不認(rèn)為我們學(xué)生的英語基礎(chǔ)差,而是我們的英語一直在進(jìn)步,一直在努力,只要自信心在,什么困難也不怕。

今天上了一節(jié)課,這不是一節(jié)公開課,所以不能公開課的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)來評這節(jié)課。如果講到心得,有這么兩個(gè)方面,一是比以前的內(nèi)容量要稍微大一些,二是內(nèi)容量還不夠大,大的原因是我把作業(yè)批了,批了之后,講起來目的性強(qiáng)一些,有針對性些,所以速度也就快一些,學(xué)生聽起來也就不是很累,如果老師什么內(nèi)容都講,學(xué)生就會(huì)覺得老師哆嗦,就會(huì)產(chǎn)生聽覺疲勞,不愿意聽課,時(shí)間久了就會(huì)失去學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,所以老師講課一定要有充分的準(zhǔn)備和目的。內(nèi)容量不夠大的原因是老師需要在黑板上寫出大量的知識(shí)點(diǎn),這樣會(huì)浪費(fèi)大量的時(shí)間,不如學(xué)生有這樣的書,讓學(xué)生和老師共同閱讀來得快些,這們會(huì)節(jié)約時(shí)間,提高效率。再一個(gè)就是老師要很好地利用學(xué)生手中的材料,材料上有講解的直接拿來讓學(xué)生閱讀望就行了,比如我們學(xué)生訂的學(xué)英語報(bào)上第二版上就一些辨析的講解。所以這樣也可以提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)效率。

Step I: Pre-reading
1).Ok, you have know something about cultural relics, have you ever seen a piece of amber?And what do you know about it?
Show some pictures of amber. Let students know what the amber is and its value.

Step II: Fsat reading and thinking about the title:
1). Teacher give students the following questions to think:
When you see this title, what do you want to know?
What is the Amber Room?
Why was it called the Amber Room?
What was it made for?
What happened to it?
Why to search for it?
(Ask the students just remember these questions in their mind not find the answers.)
2). Fast reading to get the main idea:
The Amber Room , which _________________sent to the Russian people as a _____, was ____by the _____________ soldiers .
(Students read the passage quickly and fill in the blans)
3). Now, let the students try to answer the questions in part 1). (PPT 7)
(Teacher may give some necessary help)
Step III: Scanning
Ask the students to scan all the names of the person appeared in the text and find out what did they do to the amber room. Join the correct parts of the sentences together. (exercise 1 on page 2)
After do the above exercise ,teacher give students a picture of the people in the text and let the students try to tell theclue of the story according to the persons. (PPT 9)
Step IV: Skimming
Ask students to skim the passage and complete exercise 2 on page2.

( 4 ) How did the Amber Room get lost?
( 1 ) How was the Amber Room made?
( 2 ) Why did the King of Prussia give the Amber Room to the Czar of Russia as a gift?
Step V: Careful reading
Let the students read the text carefully and try to find some details to complete the form on PPT 11.
Step VI: Role play
Just now you have learnt the story of The Amber Room, now suppose you are a guide of The Amber Room, how will you intrduce the amber room to the visitors?
( Give students about 3 minutes to have a discussion in group of four ,then ask some of groups to make a role play before all the class.)
Homework
1. Read the story of The Amber Room again after class.
2. Write the introduction of the Amber Room you have discussed in class.
3. Prepare for next period by underline the difficult points in the text.
